At the end of 1980, an Italian company had the idea to make a bracelet whose links could easily be interchangeable. These bracelets became all the rage thanks to soccer players who wore links with the flags colors of their countries. In 1990, American tourists have discovered this style bracelet. Thus, the Italian charms bracelets have become popular and fashionable in the USA.
A bracelet is made up of a series of individual links, which are extendable hung with each other. In general, an Italian charms bracelet is composed of eighteen links but according to the desired size, a link can be easily added or removed. The standard links are size 9mm and are rectangular shape. They are normally made of stainless steel. There are many styles: birthstones, zodiacs, animals, family, characters, religious, etc.. Each bracelet is unique since it's personalized to the tastes of each. They are easily worn by men, women and children. |
